  If you're like me, you'd have your furry friends at your side at all times if it were possible. So when obligations keep you apart, you want them taken care of with the same love and attention you give them. That's why choosing a pet service provider who lives right in your neighborhood, with excellent references from other neighbors, is much safer than trusting a big agency to select someone you may have never met -- someone who might be dragging your dog around in a leash-tangled pack with 10 other dogs in order to maximize profit, not your dog's well being. I provide the kind of service that can only come from a person who truly cares about animals.
 In addition to dog-walking, I also provide other pet services such as cat-sitting and house-sitting (for more information, click on the "Rates and Services" link on the upper left). I serve the Upper East Side, from 76th Street to 90th Street, between 2nd Ave. and the East River. My usual hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, though I am also available on occasional evenings and weekends for an additional $5. My clients board their dogs with my trusted partner John Stanford, www.theposhpups.com, who I've worked with for years.
